И у нас как в Париже. Ну, почти.

В прошлую ночь подростки-вандалы побили стёкла примерно 25 машинам в одном из райoнов Веллингтона. Из многих пострадавших машин ничего не украдено. Всего за последнее время в этом райoне пострадало около 70 машин.

"When my street was hit, it was by a gang of rampaging kids during a school holiday. They ran up the street and smashed windows with their skateboards and didn't stop until the police rounded them up in Newtown. Unfortunately, because they all looked the same in their hoodies and baggy trousers, no witnesses were able to positively ID the exactly who in the mob was responsible for the broken windows.

The police took everyones finger prints and examined the skateboards but were unable to get enough evidence to charge anyone.

A few days later I drived past a parking lot in Kilbirnie that was full of hoodie and baggy trouser wearing, skateboarding youths who were practicing smoking and drinking cheap alcohol. They pointed at my car and laughed evilly at me."
